Our educational resources are developed as part of bigger projects and edited as a collection of activities and games surrounding a thematic topic related to the aims and principles of IFM-SEI. These resources offer educators - group leaders, peer educators or teachers - lots of easy-to-use activities as well as an introduction to the topic. All publications have two parts - an introduction offering background information, food for thoughts and tips for educators - and an activity part with descriptions of educational methods for different age groups. You can use them in group nights, on seminars and camps, in non-formal and formal education settings.
E-mpACT Policy Paper: Inclusive Digital Youth Work
We are excited to share with you the E-mpACT Policy Paper, ‘Inclusive Digital Youth Work’! Here, we provide 5 key suggestions for the European Union and other institutions to use as guidance to improve their policies concerning inclusive education through digitalisation.
This policy paper was created by 18 young people from 8 IFM-SEI partner organisations during the summer of 2024 in Lima, Peru. For 6 days they were trained in advocacy and digitalisation, and collaboratively wrote the policy paper using the data and findings from the E-mpACT research report.

E-mpact Research: Exploring COVID-19's impact on Youth and Youth work
The “E-mpACT: Youth for Inclusive e-ducation” project aims to address the youth needs impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically addressing digitalisation, non-formal education, and international solidarity in bringing changes to our societies. The project explores key youth (work) issues globally, focusing on the effects of the pandemic on youth, youth workers, and youth work.
As part of the project, youth participants were empowered with the tools to conduct their own youth-led research projects. Young researchers from Denmark, Norway, Palestine, Peru, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, and Zimbabwe were engaged in building evidence-based insights into how COVID-19 affected them, their peers, and their organisations.
This research report will be used as evidence to create Policy Papers to help make governmental change to improve e-learning accessibility.

Journey of Young Leadership Toolkit
In IFM-SEI, we wish to fundamentally challenge the ways in which leadership is seen in our societies. Unlike in business or party politics, we do not see that are certain people who are obvious or natural leaders, whose job it is to lead others who are not.
We wish to embody and create in our organisations, communities in which all are able to be empowered to take on leadership roles in different contexts, so that this absolute division between leaders and led is questioned. These are the democratic socialist values that underpin our work, and we view leadership as, more than anything else, producing and reproducing the spaces where this equality can be lived, organised through activities and advocated for beyond our own movements, in wider society.
In this spirit, this toolkit has been created by these young people themselves, in a number of seminars and activities within the project, based on their own experiences, and concrete challenges and practices within their own organisations. It comprises a number of examples of leadership practices, as well as accompanying activities for you to use in your own group meetings, workshops, camps, and other events. There is also a a card game included, to reflect on different leadership qualities.

Socialist Education Toolkit
The Socialist Education Toolkit (SET) has been developed by the SET taskforce, composed of young educators from IFM-SEI member organisations in Europe and the Middle East. It is based on the input of a wider group of IFM-SEI members who came together for a seminar “Education for Social Change” in the Salvador-Allende Haus in Germany in spring 2022, and on the IFM-SEI resolution on socialist education adopted by the whole global membership at the 2022 IFM-SEI Congress. The toolkit aims to lay the groundwork for socialist education in IFM-SEI.
This toolkit is aimed at group leaders (or helpers, as they are called in many IFM-SEI organisations) who wish to learn more about the foundations and the meaning of socialist education and would like to learn how to apply a socialist education approach in their activities with children and young people.
