Kids Got Rights! Handbook is here!

This project focused on children’s rights, bringing together children from 7 different European countries to reflect on and empower them to claim their rights. During the International Kids Hubs meeting in Austria (April 2022), the Superheroes of the project explored the complaint procedures to claim their rights when they are not being respected.

The following handbook has been created for educators to support children in asking for their rights to be respected. You will find a brief introduction to children’s rights and, more specifically, to participation rights, and then we will explain why child participation is so meaningful. After this first part, we will focus on how children can advocate for their rights and how you can support them in doing so.

You can find this toolkit in the seven languages of the project.

Don’t hesitate, and take a look!
