Ten years ago in 22.07.2011, 69 of our comrades from the Norwegian Youth Organisation AUF and Framfylkingen were shot by a right wing extremist in the island of Utøya.

This brutal and cruel attack shocked us ten years ago and still does till today leaving us with an open wound. IFM-SEI as a socialist children and youth movement of movements, will never forget this attack, and will keep fighting the ideology that led to this unforgettable attack. One of our main principles is Peace.

For IFM-SEI “Peace is more than just the absence of war. We choose peace and are dedicated to a world where everyone can live in a non-violent environment free from abuse, war, bullying, discrimination, exclusion and fear, that is healthy and stimulating and where conflicts can be peacefully transformed. IFM-SEI undertakes peace education and promotes peace initiatives whenever and wherever possible. Peace education must always criticize reality and the normative way to understand it but it also has to give an alternative. Peace will only be really achieved when all forms of exploitation cease”. – IFM-SEI Constitution.

These attacks will never make us give up to the fear of right-wing violence. For all the children, youth, and their families that were affected by this cruelty, we say, we will never forget, we will keep remembering you all We will keep fighting for equality, freedom, peace, and solidarity.

For all the children, youth, and their families that were affected by this cruelty, we say, we will never forget, we will keep remembering you all, and we will never let fear stop us. We owe it to everyone who was there to keep on shouting out loud against injustice and hate.

We will keep fighting against the right-wing extremist ideology and challenge and change the current world order through international solidarity. Together we would overcome the ideologies that have led to this brutality.
