Friends of IFM-SEI
We are the International Falcon Movement – Socialist Educational International an educational movement working to empower children and young people to take an active role in society and fight for their rights. We are an umbrella organisation for child and youth-led movements all over the world, with 45 member organizations from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East delivering socialist education on the basis of our values of equality, democracy, solidarity, peace, cooperation and anti-capitalism. To reach these values, we organise a variety of activities including seminars, training courses, international camps and conferences.

It is our firm belief that children’s voices are valuable in decision making processes both on issues directly affecting them and on global issues. IFM-SEI uses non-formal education principles and methods to empower and equip children and youth to be active participants in civil society, and to have their voice heard, despite their background.
What is friends of IFM-SEI
Friends of IFM-SEI is a scheme for individuals to make regular (annual) donations to support IFM-SEI’s work. Individual supporters can be alumni/veterans, political allies, active members or friends and family of active members. By paying a fixed sum to IFM-SEI each year, you become a ‘Friend of IFM-SEI’. More than 70% of our funding comes from grants mainly from the European institutions which make our work limited to specific regions.
What are Friends of IFM-SEI
Hence, the presidium decided to rely on the principles of solidarity and mutual aid on which IFM-SEI was founded in 1922 and to ask those who support our work to make small donation by becoming a Friend of IFM-SEI.
With the increased restriction on funds, IFM-SEI more than ever needs donations from supportive friends and individuals to carry on our work and strengthen the international movement of movements of working-class children and youth. By becoming a friend of IFM-SEI and giving minimum of 3 euros a month, you’ll be helping to ensure more children and young people participating in international activities, develop self-confidence, live internationalism and think about society and the world around them.
