Our Funders
IFM-SEI receives generous funding from the Erasmus+ Programme and Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers, and from the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe for our operating costs as well as for numerous projects European and global projects
Socialist Family
Being a proud member of the socialist community, we closely collaborate with our esteemed sister organizations: the International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY), Young European Socialists (YES), Party of European Socialists (PES), PES Women, the Socialist International (SI), and the Socialist International Woman (SIW)
YOUTH PLATFORMS
IFM-SEI proudly holds memberships with the European Youth Forum (YFJ), the Latin American and Caribbean Youth Forum (FLACJ), and the Network of International Youth Organisations in Africa (NIYOA). By actively participating in their working groups, attending statutory meetings, and joining campaigns, we stand united with millions of global youth to amplify our voices and foster mutual learning.
Additionally, our involvement in ICMYO—the International Coordination Meeting of Youth Organisations—is marked by the esteemed position of the IFM-SEI President in the Task Force. ICMYO, by uniting regional youth networks and top international youth organizations, seeks to shape global youth-centric policies. In collaboration with our ICMYO peers, we’ve had the privilege to co-host the recent World Conferences on Youth held in Mexico (2010) and Sri Lanka (2014).
OTHER PARTNERS
Children’s Rights Action Group (CRAG): Advocating for the integral inclusion of children’s rights within EU legislation, policies, and actions, CRAG ensures that budget allocations adequately cater to children. Our Secretary General holds a significant role in this group. In collaboration with CRAG, we proudly presented the Child Rights Manifesto prior to the 2014 European elections.
European Network on Independent Living (ENIL): As a pan-European network, ENIL unites disabled individuals from across the continent. Serving as a vital platform, ENIL engages both Independent Living organizations and their non-disabled supporters in discussions centered on Independent Living concerns. Our partnership with ENIL has been instrumental in pioneering projects focusing on the inclusion of children and young people with disabilities. Furthermore, ENIL extends valuable support to IFM-SEI’s Accessibility Network.
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Solidar is the umbrella organisation of over 60 Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) working to advance social justice in Europe and worldwide. IFM-SEI and Solidar share both common values and thematic programme areas, both working within the civil society to strive for a more just, equal world for all. IFM-SEI is getting involved in Solidar’s education working group. With this new partnership, we hope to re-enforce our cooperation with like-minded movements. With this in mind, we believe that we share SOLIDAR’s advancement of social justice and principles of solidarity, equality, and participation. We believe we can bring a global child and youth perspective also to SOLIDAR’s cause and contribute to its promotion of realisation of economic and social rights.
