Common Ground 2022 will be the next IFM-SEI international camp to be hosted by Woodcraft Folk in the UK. We’ll bring together thousands of children and young people from across the world for ten days of camping, cooperation, and friendship on 29 July-08 August 2022. This will be the first IFM-SEI international camp since Welcome to Another World in 2016. The camp will take place at Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire, England.

Partnerships
Everyone at Common Ground will camp in a village and each village will be made up of at least one Woodcraft Folk group and one international group. International partnerships bring new friendships and opportunities to live and educate together before, during and after Common Ground. International delegations will be paired with a Woodcraft Folk group with whom you will share activities, experience and fundraise to help towards your participation fee, visa and travel costs. Some organisations may already have international partnerships and that's great, just let us know. If you don't have an existing partnership please contact us at international@commonground.camp as soon as possible to organise this! You will need to tell us if you want to come and who you would like to partner with before December 2021 at latest.
Fundraising
The theme for Common Ground is international friendship and solidarity. In keeping with this, IFM-SEI and Woodcraft have applied for external grants to offer some funded places and a travel budget for young people who need this. We intend to fill these places first, so do check the International Projects section of the Common Ground website to see if your MO is a partner. If the participant numbers grow, Common Ground will also aim to offer an additional solidarity budget centrally. But this will depend on camp fees raised and the final budget available. Delegations will have to fundraise some of the costs with their partner group in the UK and we have lots of advice and support about how to do this. It's important to start early though!
