Resist! The Global Climate Divide is a project that focuses on Climate Change from an intersectional perspective. As part of the project, IFM-SEI contacted experts in different areas to research on the relationships of the Climate Crisis with Capitalism, Science, Colonialism, Gender… and much more!

Episodes in English 

1. Climate change and natural sciences. For the first episode of the Resist! the Global Climate Divide podcast, Nadia and Anuschka take you on a deep dive into the intersection of Climate Change and Natural Sciences. A familiar combo, but we are giving it a critical spin! 

1. Decolonialism. In this episode we will explore the links between Climate Change and Racial Justice, diving into the colonial roots of this crisis and reflecting about how different cultures have different perspectives regarding Climate Change. 

1. Climate Change and Gender. The month of March comes with one of the most relevant issues that our societies are facing today: gender inequalities. So this episode of our podcast Resist! the Global Climate Divide will be focusing on Feminism, gender and its relation to climate change.   

1. A just transition. In this episode we’re going back in time to 2020… One of the last events IFM-SEI was able to organise before the lockdown started was a consultation on Climate Change and Intersectionality, also part of Resist! the Global Climate Divide.

1. Climate change and alternatives to Capitalism. This is the first episode in Spanish of the Resit! The Global Climate Divide. This podcast will explore the relationships between climate change and different aspects such as human rights, racial justice, or gender (in) equality, among others 

1. Ecofeminism. On March 8, International Women’s Day took place and we think it is a perfect time to talk about climate change from a gender perspective. To do this, we have invited María Eugenia García Nemocón, activist and member of the Ecologists in Action Commission on Ecofeminism (Spain). 

1. Climate Change and LGTBI + activism. In this month’s episode, we are going to meet Fabiana Castro Hernández, a Mexican activist in Madrid for migrants, women and LGTBI + people. As a migrant and trans woman, she has participated in numerous associations and organizations in defense of human rights. 

1. Global Effects of climate change. Meet Connie, an activist at IFM-SEI and international relations student at New York University. Connie will talk about the effects of climate change, the dynamics of the global north and south, feminism …

Resist! The Global Climate Divide es un proyecto que se centra en el cambio climático desde una perspectiva interseccional. Como parte del proyecto, IFM-SEI contactó con expertos en diferentes áreas para investigar las relaciones de la Crisis Climática con el Capitalismo, la Ciencia, el Colonialismo, el Género … ¡y mucho más!

Episodios en inglés: 

1. Cambio climático y ciencias naturales. Para el primer episodio de Resist! el podcast Global Climate Divide, Nadia y Anuschka lo llevan a una inmersión profunda en la intersección del cambio climático y las ciencias naturales. Un combo familiar, ¡pero le estamos dando un giro crítico! 

1. Descolonialismo. En este episodio exploraremos los vínculos entre el Cambio Climático y la Justicia Racial, sumergiéndonos en las raíces coloniales de esta crisis y reflexionando sobre cómo diferentes culturas tienen diferentes perspectivas con respecto al Cambio Climático.

1. El cambio climático y las alternativas al Capitalismo. Este es el primer episodio en español del podcast de Resit! The Global Climate Divide. Este podcast explorará las relaciones entre el cambio climático y diferentes aspectos tales como los derechos humanos, la justicia racial, o la (des)igualdad de género, entre otros. 

1. Ecofeminismo. El pasado 8 de marzo tuvo lugar el día internacional de las mujeres y pensamos que es un momento perfecto para hablar del cambio climático desde la perspectiva de género. Para ello, hemos invitado a María Eugenia García Nemocón, activista y miembro de la Comisión de Ecofeminismo de Ecologistas en Acción (España). 

1. Cambio Climático y activismo LGTBI+. En el episodio de este mes, vamos a conocer a Fabiana Castro Hernández, activista mexicana en Madrid por las personas migrantes, las mujeres y las personas LGTBI+. Como mujer migrante y trans, ha participado en numerosas asociaciones y organizaciones en defensa de los derechos humanos. 

1. Efectos Globales del cambio climático. Conoce a Connie, activista en IFM-SEI y estudiante de relaciones internacionales en la Universidad de Nueva York. Connie nos hablará de los efectos del cambio climático, las dinámicas del norte y sur globales, el feminismo…
