On a daily basis we get informed about all kinds of conflict situations all over the world. It does not matter if it is between generations, countries or within our own family. There are omnipresent and we need to deal with this topic.

“Global Cooperation and local action – Peace and Conflict 101”, is going to be the first global event happening on local level.

The idea is that all interested IFM-SEI member organisations are facilitating one event within the same time frame in their own organisation. This allows us to dismantle a variety of barriers and makes it possible to educate kids and youth according to their needs and resources.

How? You will receive a creative online Toolbox which is including a prepared event lasting for about a day for you to implement between the 5th and 7th of April.

For an even greater experience you can be matched with another organisation which is also facilitating the event at the same time. This makes it an international activity on local level.

Our idea:

– Kids and youth can work on the topic peace and conflict at the same time as others

– Exchanging outputs during the event with different member organisations

– Not depending on continental funding and being able to have one open activity for all member organisations
