• - Analyse current strengths and weaknesses of the different governance bodies in IFM-SEI
• - Review the current role descriptions and terms of reference for elected positions in IFM-SEI 
• - Conduct a consultation with different stakeholders in IFM-SEI on the governance review
• - Collate best practices from the wider voluntary and youth sectors in terms of governance
• - Come up with new and innovative ways to enhance IFM-SEI's governance bodies and supporting documents
• - Present a proposal to the IFM-SEI Congress 2019 with the outcome(s) of the group and/or proposals for a new system

The Governance Review Group should consist of three IFM-SEI members plus the IFM-SEI Secretary General. At least one of the members must be under 30, at least one member must be a non-man and at least one member should be from outside of Europe. 

The Governance Review Group members must satisfy the following criteria:

• - Have a working understanding of IFM-SEI and its structures
• - Knowledge about the IFM-SEI Constitution and Rules of Procedure 
• - Have attended at least one International Committee or Congress 
• - Have experience of at least one other organisation's governance structure 
• - Be able to work confidently in English
