Youth Exchange Project in Poggiardo, Italy

At the beginning of July there was an Erasmus+ youth Exchange project running in Poggiardo, Italy. A group of young people from Fenix, Slovakia took part and had a wonderful time there – getting to know young people from other partnering countries, exploring Italy and exchanging cultural experiences.

Young Leaders Trainig

In the last week of July 18 young leaders aged 14-16 years of age met in Stara Bystrica, Slovakia, to be trained to work with children. They have learned what games can be played in different environments with children. They have also tried how to provide the first aid and basic treatment. Also they have created the ideal leader and talked about children and human rights. We believe that all participants will use their new knowledge in work with children and we look forward to the further cooperation with them.

Neighbors Without Borders

Music, food, traditions, culture, four different countries, lots of new friendships and experiences. This is what the Summer Festival Neighbors without Borders was all about. It took place in Snina, Slovakia, from 15th August till 19th August 2016 thanks to the Visegrad Fund support. It was attended by 100 people from Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic from nursery age, young people as well as seniors. We had nice time together and hope to see each other maybe next year again!
