In the framework of our Peace Year, IFM-SEI recently launched the blog Stories of Conflict and Peace. This blog which is available at the address http://storiesofconflictandpeace.blogspot.be/ allows individuals to share their experience of conflict and reflect on points related to conflict and peace. IFM-SEI invites all their members to contribute to the blog by writing articles explaining how they experienced conflict and how they contributed to peacebuilding, through education or through other means.

In 2015, a group of volunteers organised two seminars on peace education. The same dedicated young people met from 7–10 October in Brussels, Belgium to develop the content of the Peace Education Handbook that IFM-SEI will publish by the end of 2015. The group of trainers was supported by IFM’s two EVS volunteers, and visited by a guest from the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe who introduced us to this institution. During this event, participants decided on the content of the handbook and also discussed questions of design and translation. The handbook will be translated into German, Spanish, French, Arabic and Hebrew!
