The aim of this activity is to look at the way Pride events and marches have become increasingly dominated by corporate sponsorship, advertising and the maximization of the ‘pink pound’ and how Pride events could and should be much more about the radical politics, of LGBT liberation and fighting homophobia, that Pride originated from.
